Haitian Opera Gospel Phenominon: Pierre Gardy Fontaine




PIERRE GARDY FONTAINE is a classically trained vocalist and an established voice in Christian communities, both national and international. He has sung in various productions of opera, oratorio, and gospel concerts throughout the United States, Canada and Haiti. Pierre holds a Graduate Performance Diploma in Opera from the LONGY SCHOOL OF MUSIC. His musical range is splendid and varies in many languages, ranging from European classics, to Negro Spirituals, and contemporary gospels. His greatest desire is to tell through music a story that brings hope to his audience.

“Each time I sing I feel excited and so privileged to be able to sing God’s praises and uplift the spirit of His people”. He is grateful and humbled to have been called to God’s ministry.


Pierre has also used his talent to help support various spiritual endeavors, humanitarian causes, and to raise funds for charitable organizations helping poor children in Haiti.
